Amanda Kramer

Amanada K

Amanda is a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor with nearly 20 years of experience. While living in TN she had the opportunity to study and earn a Pilates certification under Susan Hines-Powers, a Franklin Method educator, who was certified through The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado in 1991 and led many certifications thereafter.

Her teaching and tutelage was precise, comprehensive and compassionate, all qualities that helped to mold an eager student, and plant the foundation for a long and passionate journey ahead. Amanda completed her comprehensive training in 2006 but the learning truly was just the beginning!

As a graduate from the Asheville massage and healing arts school, Amanda is a trained massage therapist with studies specializing in the healing arts as well as many continued educational studies such as clinical neuromuscular therapy and pain, Thai Yoga bodywork, Reiki, Sound Therapy, Yoga Nidra, Functional Anatomy and Myofascial movement and manual therapy.

She enjoys blending together her multi-disciplinary background and personal holistic approach during her sessions, gently addressing the physical, spiritual, emotional and psychological aspects of the whole being.

After making a shift from hospitality to holistic health in her 20’s, Amanda worked alongside one of her most memorable mentors, the now late, Dr. David Graham, D.C. Little did she know, she was being nurtured in a way that would lead her to towards her first Yoga certification in 2004 and eventually the path towards the healing arts.

Working and observing, assisting and receiving healing from one of the most energetic and charismatic Naturopathic, Applied Kinesiologist, Chiropractors, Healers that she had ever met was an honor and his work still emanates through hers.

It was during that time that Amanda received her first Yoga 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification with Stephanie Keach at the Asheville Yoga Center. Since then, she has completed the GAVY 200 hour Ashtanga Yoga teacher training & GPVY 300 hour Advanced Yoga studies, Power Vinyasa with Michael Gannon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Amanda continues to practice and train with her teacher Michael Gannon each year in Mexico as well as assist and co-lead the very training she once attended. Inspired and motivated to share her passion of the body and yoga, she developed an in-depth Functional Anatomy course as well as an Energetic Anatomy course that is designed to inspire teachers and students alike.

However, over the years since her trainings and accreditations, it is from life experiences, the authentic presence shared between clients and magical moments, that have shaped the outcome of what is and will come to be.
